JACK THE RIPPER
the remains of ST Marys
NOW THIS IS THE BEST AS I AM NOW BACK TO THE BEGINING OF HOW IT ALL BEGAN.
Although he was Not the first serial killer. He was however the first to appear in a large town such as london and where people were becoming more and more literate and the press was forced for a social change.
The press was and is partly responsible for the creation of the hundreds of myths surrounding this cruel pathetic and sad killer of women and turned him into the "the bogey man" now he is or has become a romantic figure thoughout history...WHY?????
HOWEVER i am deviating from the amazing streets in our time just look and indulge in the history of the Victorian era

The alleyways
just imagine this at night....
look ay what you find when you are not looking hard enough right bang smack in Liverpool street beside Petticoa lane Market
look ay what you find when you are not looking hard enough right bang smack in Liverpool street beside Petticoa lane Market
Bricklane!!
I was thinking when i looked into these alleyways how great it would have been to live around this time (maybe rich, not poor) letting my imagination run wild i could hear horses hoofs clipping the cobbles, the neighing and the carraige wheels turning... oh to go back if only for a day that would be bliss!!! but its not to be so my imagination will have to do instead as well as old films... the alleyways have NOT been altered in any way they are still the same now as they were back then and they still look fantastic...
Same day in June
More looking but this time from the outside and trying to look through the wimdows (which were shut!!!) we did try though but freaked ourselves out as the sutters creaked and banged shut ha ha ha!!! ... this building has NOT ben touched by time its Not been renovated to be modern its been left as it was back in the 1800's.
How it all Began
Its all down to the infamous serial killer JACK the Ripper who started it all. My friends and I decided to do a JTR tour DIY style now normally this should only take about an hour or two at the most. No not for us it took 4 hours yup 4 hours to do it (mind you we did get distracted)
While walking in and around the WHOLE of the East London, we found so many hidden treasures which are right beneath our noses if we look hard enough... these hidden gems are not gold, sliver or any other precious metal or stones but architecture and houses.....
It was on this tour that the first of oh so many looking thorough letters boxes (yes you read right its not a typo) we did it and took photos as well not only that but through cracks in gates, windows (oh these are empty buildings by the by) am not a nutcase or a peeping TOM!!! the imagination went running wild by all of this.... just look!
Number 4 Princelet Street... can you not see the age by looking at the stairs (not the bottle of water!!!)
